The modern building made from light wood and large glazed sections is embedded harmoniously in the juicy Zillertal meadow landscape, and offers an exciting and informative world of experience for the whole family. Austria’s most modern viewing cheese factory not only includes a product area fully transparent to the visitor, but also a yard sale, a milk bar and a restaurant with a large, covered terrace. On an area of 6,000 m² and at 11 exhibits, children and adults get an up-close, multimedia experience of milk processing and cheesemaking. A special type of Milky Way!

The Experience Dairy offers a delightful diversity of milk and cheese specialities. All dishes are made in-house by the masters of their skill – from top-quality, non-genetically modified milk, straight from the cow. This guarantees an incomparable taste experience. The Zillertal Dairy Kitchen uses only its own and locally made products. It pampers guests with local delicacies, native dishes and inventive gourmet menus from modern, light cuisine. As far as the butter goes: It is available with the milk and cheese specialities and many other farm products in the yard sale. The colourful cows are definitely worth a visit!
