A happy king greets guests at the upper station of the 8th gondola cable car Scheffau-Brandstadl. The KaiserWelt is primarily a paradise for children. At an elevation of 1,650 metres, in clear mountain air, playing is double the fun, especially when so many attractions await the little adventurers. The Kaiser Forest and its log cabins are discovered on interweaving paths, while children big and small take delight in an enormous range of games and sports options in the Games World. From Monday to Friday and Sunday, children can do handicrafts, cook and experience lots of exciting things with new friends under supervision in the handicraft room at Brandstadl from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm, for a small contribution to defray expenses. Right alongside, the Brandstadl Mountain Restaurant invites you to while away the time on the large sun terrace.

Panoramic paths with wonderful views
The hiking area around the Brandstadl mountain station can be discovered on superb forest trails and along safe paths. It belongs to the Wilder Kaiser Brixental SkiWorld, and is therefore best reached by cable cars. A fascinating view to all points of the compass accompanies hikers on the mostly easy-going loop trails. From the north, the rock formations of the Wilder Kaiser greet you; to the south is a view of the Tauern region. There are plenty of places to turn off for an enjoyable rest. The cuisine is delicious; the pure mountain air gives you an appetite. Things often get quite lively in the cosy cabins.
