The Achensee is the largest lake in the Tyrol. It lies embedded between Karwendel and Rofan in a wonderful natural landscape of mountains and meadows. The Achensee holiday region is known as the Tyrol’s sport and vitality park, and is loved for its many leisure possibilities. There is something for everyone, from hiking, swimming, Nordic walking to mountain biking and paragliding. Almost all types of sport can be ideally combined with a boat ride on the Achensee. Six landing stages await discovery: Pertisau, Seespitz, Buchau, Achenseehof, Scholastika and the Gaisalm. The latter lies on the west shore of the Achensee is can only be reach on foot or with the boat. No cars, no noise disturb the calm there, and delicacies from the kitchen can be particularly finely enjoyed on the sun terrace.

How to get there
On the Inn Valley motorway, exit at Achensee, from there towards Achensee.
