Ellmi, the magical frog, takes his name from the idyllic Tyrolean village of Ellmau. This is the starting point of the “Magic Express” (“Zauberexpress”) of the Ellmau-Going cable cars. It takes guests up the Hartkaiser in just seven minutes. At the top, right by the exit, is Ellmi’s World of Magic, which is one of 6 worlds of experience in the Wilder Kaiser-Brixental SkiWorld. The natural surroundings here are unique, with fascinating views of the wonderful mountain panorama and a magnificently colourful world of alpine flora. Just as magical are the many surprises that Ellmi has in store for all playful children, while culinary delicacies are conjured up on the tables of the panorama restaurant.

Imps and forest spirits
The mystic fabled world is populated by fairies, imps and forest spirits, who only have good intentions. They like making children happy and giving adults relaxing hours to themselves. Apart from the play park, this paradise of nature and experience also has numerous other attractions: educational nature paths with a 700 year-old high moor, a viewing tower, a “Rübezahl” path, a botanical garden, a rockery, the “Kaiserloge” (“Emperor’s Loge”) for the best view of the Wilder Kaiser, a cairn path, a chapel, an eyrie, and much more! There is also a log cabin. Visitors can put their handicraft skills to the test there under expert instruction, every Monday, Wednesday and Sunday.
